Water Main Break In Hoboken Closes Road

One street in Hoboken is closed while workers repair a 6-inch main.

HOBOKEN, NJ — A water main break on Hoboken's west side has closed one block on Tuesday morning.

"Crews are responding to emergency repairs on Fourth Street between Madison and Jefferson," Veolia water posted at 4 a.m.

A company spokesperson confirmed for Patch that repairs to the 6-inch main were still ongoing around 9 a.m.

Only one building is impacted, he said.

Fourth Street, between Madison and Jefferson streets, will remain closed until repairs are finished.
