One man has been killed in a shooting at a New Jersey sneaker store, police said.

At least one person has died after a shooting at a N.J. sneaker store, authorities have confirmed.

Authorities confirmed that at least one person was killed in the shooting and that it is an active investigation, according to News12.

Reports of the shooting came in around 9:30 p.m. and police remained on the scene on Saturday, according to nj.com.

The man killed in a shooting was Rahway resident Jamaal “Mally” Gaines, 21, authorities told nj.com. The shooter was being sought as of Saturday afternoon.

A man who was attending a meeting at the Masonic Temple next to the Rahway store on Irving Street said he heard screaming and then someone yelling for help just before police arrived, according to the report.
