Local Bands In Concert, And Santa Claus On A Float, Will Entertain In Hoboken Sunday

Santa will float through Hoboken, and then local musicians will gather to perform holiday songs. Get the schedules below.

HOBOKEN, NJ — Sunday will be alive with the sound of Santa ho-ho-ho-ing through Hoboken, followed by more than a dozen local musicians performing holiday tunes to benefit Hoboken's 2023 Cultural Affairs programming.

Santa's Schedule

Postponed from last week due to the weather, Santa Claus will begin his route on Jefferson Street between 14th and 15th Street at 11 a.m. Sunday. He'll wind his way throughout Hoboken until approximately 3 p.m.

Santa will make three pit stops along the route at Seventh and Monroe Streets, Church Square Park, and 11th and Washington Streets to take photos with residents.

The event is made possible by a partnership with the Hoboken Business Alliance.

The Hoboken Holiday Banding Concert Returns

Have you been meaning to check out the local music scene? Local musicians will band together Sunday for the annual Hoboken Banding Concert.

Popular local musicians will perform their versions of holiday classics.

The event will begin Sunday, Dec. 18 at 4 p.m. at Willie McBride's, 616 Grand St.

Admission is $10. Proceeds will support Hoboken Cultural Affairs events for the 2023 season.

Performers: Julio Fernandez, Pamela Strell, Abbe Rivers, Demolition String Band, Jack Skuller, Cliff Westfall, The Fuzzy Lemons, Jim Testa, John Bauers, Ed Fogarty, The Fuzzy Lemons, The Gefkens, Lloyd United, Rio the Messenger, Dave Stengel, Gene D. Plumber, Tom Vincent and the Holiday Banding House Band, and more.
