School Safety Drill Planned For Hoboken High: Officials

Hoboken authorities plan to hold a school safety drill at Hoboken High School on May 23. There may be "increased police activity."

HOBOKEN, NJ — Hoboken authorities plan to hold a school safety drill at Hoboken High School on Wednesday. The drill may cause increased police activity, officials said.

Hoboken city officials released the following advisory on Monday afternoon:

“On Wednesday, May 23, the Hoboken Police Department, in partnership with The Hoboken Board of Education, will be conducting a school safety drill at Hoboken High School. This is a training exercise for first responders, school staff, and students. Various public safety resources will be utilized during this drill and you will see increased police activity.”
