Peek Inside New Hoboken Cafe, See Menu: Koochen Coffee Replaces City Of Saints

A new coffee shop, Koocheh Coffee, has opened, replacing City of Saints on 14th Street in Hoboken. See the menu, prices, and photos below.

HOBOKEN, NJ — There's a new coffee shop in town. After City of Saints Coffee closed their small shop on 14th Street in March, Koocheh has arrived.

The shop is a first for owner Babak Moghaddam, who worked with coffee equipment before. He said that while he'll sell a few baked goods, like croissants, he'll primarily focus on coffee and other beverages.

Koocheh means "alley" in Persian, he said.

He's using Bwe coffee, from a local group of cafes founded in Hoboken. (In fact, Koocheh is about equidistant from two Bwe cafes.) Moghaddam also sells bags of Bwe beans.

Among unique offerings is his saffran sunrise, a tea drink that tastes sweet. See the menu here:

Koocheh Coffee opened on Thursday. It will be open from 6:30-5 on weekdays, 8-5 on Saturday and 8-3 on Sunday.
