Several Gunshots Fired In Hoboken, Nobody Injured: Police

HOBOKEN, NJ — Hoboken police are asking for the public’s assistance finding a person who allegedly fired gunshots on Harrison Street last week. Nobody was injured, authorities said.
According to the Hoboken Police Department, officers responded to the 200-block of Harrison Street at 10 p.m. on Aug. 20 after receiving a report about gunfire in the area.
On arrival, officers spoke with the alleged target of the shooting, who told them that an unknown person approached them and fired several times in his direction. Nobody was hit during the exchange, police said.

The suspected shooter fled the scene south on Harrison Street, authorities said.

Detectives are investigating the shooting and are asking for the public’s help. Anyone with information as to the identity of the alleged shooter or any other details that can assist police can call Det.
