Hoboken Street To Close Because Of Falling Rocks: City
Part of a county road in Hoboken will close this week to address rocks falling from the cliffs.
HOBOKEN, NJ — Sinatra Drive in Hoboken, a road between the Palisade cliffs and the Hudson River, will be partly closed starting Wednesday to address falling rocks, the city said.
The Stevens Institute of Technology, a college nearby, will begin repairs to Castle Point bluff to address falling rocks between Eighth and Ninth Streets.
While the repairs will start next week, preparations will start this Wednesday.

Workers will close a lane along Sinatra Drive from Fifth Street to Sinatra Drive North on Wednesday through Friday, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. each day, the city said.
The road will reopen to northbound vehicles during non-working hours, the city said.

Southbound traffic will continue to detour via Hudson Street. The multi-use path and sidewalks will remain open for pedestrians and bicyclists.
