HUDSON COUNTY, NJ — When one snowstorm ends, another is fixing to begin, forecasters say.

The area is expected to get a mix of rain and snow on Tuesday night and then more snow Wednesday. Meanwhile, the Saturday night storm dumped several inches in North Jersey this weekend.

The Next Storms

North Jersey is expected to be hit with two nights of rain and snow.

Forecasters say that there's a 60 percent chance of snow Tuesday night, with an accumulation of 1-2 inches. Wednesday night, there's a 100 percent chance of precipitation, with "Snow before 1 a.m., then snow and sleet, possibly mixed with freezing rain." Forecasters didn't give an expected accumulation yet, but expect rain and slippery roads Thursday morning.
