Soccer Star Alex Morgan Meets With Hoboken High Students

Soccer players at Hoboken High School recently got a chance to meet one of the most talented athletes in the sport… World Cup star Alex Morgan.

On Oct. 5, several members of the Lady Redwings soccer team got the chance to meet Morgan at Sinatra Park, HobokenRedwings.org reported.

In addition to being an Olympic gold medalist, Morgan was the youngest player on the national team at the 2011 FIFA Women’s World Cup, was named U.S. Soccer Female Athlete of the Year and was a FIFA World Player of the Year finalist.

She also authored a best-selling middle-grade book series about four soccer players titled “The Kicks.”

“What an amazing experience,” Redwings head coach Jaclyn Gennarelli stated. “She was so nice and our girls are really big fans of hers.”
