Sourdough Pizza Spot Is Coming To Hoboken's West Side
A new artisinal pizza spot is coming to western Hoboken, the second location for a Cliffside Park-based restaurant.
HOBOKEN, NJ — Ovale Pizza, which has a location in Cliffside Park, is bringing its handmade sourdough pies to Hoboken's west side.
The pizzeria recently placed signage at 305 Willow Ave., across from Hoboken's hospital. It replaces Prime Time, the convenience store that moved around the corner.
The eatery offers Roman-style pies with artisinal crust, as well as salads and Italian desserts.

"Our technique includes the use of sourdough, 85 percent hydration, 72 hours of maturation and twice-baked," says their pizza box in the window. "The result is a low gluten dough, easy to digest, crunchy and fluffy with less calories than the common pizza dough."
