Southwest Festival Returns To Hoboken This Weekend
Hoboken's Southwest Fest will add mural arts, a youth sports clinic, and a pop-up market this year.
HOBOKEN, NJ — Southwest Fest will return to Hoboken on Saturday, bringing family activities, entertainment, and community programming.
The free event on Jackson Street will include live entertainment, refreshments, and opportunities for residents to connect with local groups.
Now in its fourth year, the event will add several new features while keeping the activities that have made it a neighborhood tradition.

New programming for 2026 includes mural arts activities presented by the City of Hoboken's Division of Cultural Affairs. Participating artists are Distort, Joust and Dillon Dunning.
The festival will also include a youth sports clinic on Mama Johnson Field hosted by Hive Athletics, with free skills-based activities and instruction for children from coaches.

Another new addition is a Main Street Pops pop-up market featuring local vendors, makers and small businesses. Organizers also announced an expanded lineup of live musical performances and entertainment throughout the day.
Returning features include food and refreshments, face painting, family-friendly games and activities, community resources and information, and chances to connect with neighbors and local organizations. "
Southwest Fest has become one of Hoboken's most meaningful community celebrations because it brings together residents from every corner of our city," said Councilman Ruben Ramos.
"We're excited to introduce new programming this year while continuing to provide the free activities, entertainment, and neighborhood spirit that have made the event such a success,” said Jennifer Delgado and Sasha Nizgoda, the festival's co-chairs.
The event is supported by community partners Hoboken Neighbors, What Hoboken Sounds Like, and Community Lifestyles.
Sponsors listed for the 2026 event are the Hoboken Business Alliance, the City of Hoboken, the Hoboken Housing Authority, Main Street Pops, Hive Athletics, World of Wonder Daycare and The Light Group.
