Special Events For Pi Day In Hoboken And Jersey City, Including Pizza Party

A local math tutoring company, a museum, and several eateries in North Jersey are celebrating "Pi Day" this weekend.

HOBOKEN, NJ — Saturday's date is March 14, and math enthusiasts have designated it "Pi Day" after the number used to determine the circumference of a circle. Pi equals 3.141592654... (who tried to memorize it just to prove their mastery?)

In North Jersey, several businesses are offering special promotions Saturday related to pie or pi.

Hoboken's Mathnasium, a tutoring spot for kids, is offering a pizza party on Saturday, but you have to sign up.

Pizza and dessert shops around the country are offering "pie" deals on Saturday (get it)?

Crumbl, the bakery chain that has several shops in North Jersey, noted that on Saturday, "Each store will feature a surprise pie flavor for one day only, so customers can stop by their local Crumbl or check the Crumbl App to see which pie flavor is available near them.

Possible flavors include Key Lime, Raspberry Cream, French Silk, Lemon Cream, and Brookie Pie, available while supplies last.
