Spring Arrives in Hoboken: Pier 13 to Open on Friday

One of the joys of life in Hoboken is sitting on the pier, overlooking the Hudson River and having a cold beer on a hot summer day.

While the weather isn’t quite there yet, it’s comforting to know that at least one part of the equation will be available.

On Friday, Pier 13, the outdoor bar and event space off Sinatra Drive near 13th Street, will be opening for the spring from 4 to 11 p.m. during the week and from 12 p.m. to 11 p.m. on the weekend.

Attractions at the pier include a beer garden, food trucks, paddle boarding and kayaking.
