Support Hudson County NAMI, Learn More At Panera Fundraiser Saturday
The National Alliance on Mental Illness has a Hudson County chapter. Whether you're a consumer or family member, you can find out more here.
HUDSON COUNTY, NJ — The Hudson County chapter of NAMI — the National Alliance on Mental Illness — may be one of the more low-key nonprofits in the area, but they're constantly providing programs for, and advocating for, local residents with mental health issues and their families.
They have both virtual and in-person support groups for family and consumers, as well as the Family-to-Family program, a free, eight-session educational program for families, significant others, and friends of people with mental health conditions.
And they hold events and groups around the county.

This weekend, they're offering a chance to donate part of the proceeds if you stop to buy food at Panera Bread in Secaucus, and you can also meet with representatives there.
"We are excited to share that this weekend we are having our first fundraising event for this year!," said the local group, in a message. "It will take place at Panera Bread, 200 Mill Creek Drive in Secaucus, NJ this Saturday, April 13 from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m."
