SUV Smashes Into Hudson County Bus Stop, Kills Pedestrian: Reports
A driver struck and killed a pedestrian with their SUV at a bus stop in Hudson County, then fled the scene, reports say.

HUDSON COUNTY, NJ — A driver struck and killed a pedestrian with their SUV at a bus stop in Hudson County on Tuesday morning, then fled the scene, reports say.
Local authorities said the vehicle smashed into the River Road bus stop in North Bergen near Hackensack Meridian Health Palisades Medical Center. The driver then fled the scene, leaving the SUV behind, entangled in the debris of the bus stop, ABC New York reported.
Authorities called the incident a “fatal hit-and-run,” ABC New York stated.

Medics reportedly pronounced a victim dead at the scene, RLS Media stated.
North Bergen police closed River Road during the Tuesday morning rush hour commute “due to an investigation of a serious car crash.”
