HOBOKEN, NJ — A Hoboken man has been charged with aggravated assault following an alleged "road rage" incident last month, police said Monday.

Cory Paul Reube, 36, of Hoboken allegedly "waved what turned out to be a BB gun at another driver" on April 12, police said Monday.

A spokesperson said that on that date, Sgt. Adam Colon and officers Joseph Spano and Dylan Allegretta responded to the 1800 block of Park Avenue in Weehawken in response to a road rage incident involving a firearm.

"A follow-up investigation, led by Officer Quinn, determined that after being cut off by another driver, Reube aggressively tailed the other vehicle before pulling up next to it, rolling down his window, and pointing what appeared to be a black handgun at the other car, which had three passengers," the spokesperson said.

Early in the morning of April 25, police and a SWAT Team headed to Park Avenue in Hoboken to arrest Reube.
