Sweet Lottery Win: $1M Powerball Ticket Sold In Hudson County

HUDSON COUNTY, NJ — New Jersey Lottery officials have identified the store that sold a $1 million Powerball ticket for the Saturday, May 4 drawing.
The winning ticket was sold at Gary’s Sweet Shoppe on West Side Avenue in Jersey City. It matched five of five white balls and captured a second-tier prize worth $1 million. The odds of landing the winning numbers were about 1 in 11,688,054 for every $2 ticket sold, according to lottery officials.
The winning numbers for the Saturday, May 4th drawing were: 06, 16, 23, 30 and 61. The Red Power Ball number was 02. The Multiplier number was 02.

The Powerball jackpot rolls to $215 million for the next drawing to be held Wednesday, May 8 at 10:59 p.m.
