Meeting About Pickleball, 14th Street Viaduct Set For Hoboken Monday
The in-person meeting in Hoboken on Monday can help determine what goes under the Viaduct that leads from Hoboken to Jersey City Heights.
HOBOKEN, NJ — The city of Hoboken and Hudson County have invited local residents to an in-person meeting to "discuss activating space under the 14th Street Viaduct for pickleball."
The meeting is in response to feedback on a proposal to install two temporary pickleball courts with moveable fencing.
The fencing would be stored as to not constrain space for scheduled events such as the weekly farmer's market, the city says, allowing court space on weekdays.

The 14th Street Viaduct is the property of Hudson County.
"Separately, fencing has been temporarily set up under the 14th Street Viaduct for the County to upgrade lighting and it will be removed this week," the city said.

The meeting will be held at the Viaduct, this Monday, Aug. 21, 6 p.m. at 14th and Adams streets, Hoboken.
