These 5 Restaurants Opened In North Jersey In June

Dining out for summer? Here are five new restaurants that opened recently in North Jersey.

NORTH JERSEY — Are you planning to eat outside in the warm weather, or to enjoy a stay-cation in the Garden State?

Here are five restaurants that opened in June in North Jersey.

Ju-Ichi

Ju-Ichi, a Japanese restaurant, recently opened at 512 Bloomfield Ave., Montclair. The family-owned group of restaurants has other locations in the state and in Pennslyvania, serving up sushi, ramen, udon, and their signature noddle broth. Read more about it here.

Millburn Deli (Sixth Location)

The 80-year-old Millburn Deli, which has locations in Montclair, Morristown, Bridgewater, and Westfield, opened its newest spot in Ridgewood last weekend. Their mouthwatering sandwiches include a Godfadda with hand-breaded chicken cutlet, smoked bacon, sliced mozzarella, and house Russian dressing, served on a fresh Calandra’s sub roll and pressed to order. Roman Gourmet

Roman Gourmet, a group of pizzeria and Italian restaurants that began in Maplewood in 1971, opened a new location in Warren on June 9. They focus on healthy, fresh Italian cuisine. The menu includes specialty pizzas, pasta, soups, salads, sandwiches, and calzones, and they also cater. They're located at 125 Washington Valley Road, Warren. Read more about the new location here.

Poke Pot

Poke Pot opened recently on Hoboken's tree-lined First Street, a walk of a few minutes from the Hoboken Train Terminal. The eatery serves up Hawaiian style poke bowls featuring "sushi-grade fish," as well as tea. They're located at 303 First St. Read more about them here.

Uncle Rocco

Uncle Rocco, on Hoboken's west wide, opened recently at the site of the former Antique at 112. The new eatery, located at 112 Willow Ave., serves "classic comfort food and fresh creations" from burgers to steak fries to avocado toast. They've also got a private dining room.
