They Got Lit In Hoboken: Residents Created Interactive And Grand Holiday Displays For 2021

On the heels of grand Halloween displays for 2021, Hoboken residents have gone all out for winter holidays. Check out the twist at the end.

HOBOKEN, NJ — You don't need a sprawling house in the suburbs — or even a yard — to create elaborate holiday displays, as these homes in mile-square Hoboken show. After local residents upped their game with interactive and grand (and sometimes funny) Halloween decor two months ago, they've also taken time with musical and interactive light displays for the holiday season. This interactive display on Park Avenue has moving parts, moving "snow," and music.
It's pretty in daytime too!
This liquor store in the center of town has a beautiful window display each year. This year, the dancing St. Nick has also been seen outside.
Several of the businesses on Washington Street create elaborate interactive displays each year with trains and moving parts. On central Washington Street, Symposia Bookstore (check them out!) created an ice pond out of a mirror and let their polar bears hang out.

And yet...there's always a Grinch who tries to steal Christmas, or even swipe someone's reindeer. (D'oh! A deer!)

That's pretty naughty.
