Thunderstorms And Heavy Rain Predicted Later Monday In Hudson County

HUDSON COUNTY, NJ — The air quality improved in Hudson County at the end of last week and you could finally see the sun. But sunny skies are expected to give way to rain and possibly thunderhowers later on Monday.

While less than an inch of rain is expected to fall, and no flood watches have been issued, the rain may be heavy during thunderstorms, the National Weather Service says in its forecast for Monday.

Showers and a thunderstorm are most likely after 2 p.m. and into the evening hours, the NWS says.
- High tide in Hoboken (4.86 feet) will be at 5 p.m. on Monday evening.
- In North Secaucus, it will be at 5:37 p.m. (6.31 feet). Check here.
