Too Poor To Afford Gifts For Loved Ones? Hoboken Can Help; Seeks Donations
There are programs to feed the needy, but what about helping them shop for gifts for the holidays? Hoboken is seeking donations.
HOBOKEN, NJ — Needy people can apply for programs for food and housing, but what if they can't afford to shop for holiday gifts for their loved ones?
Hoboken's Community Center — which runs a food pantry that also gives out toiletries and diapers for those in need — is seeking donations for their second annual "holiday market" for needy clients. Residents donate gifts, and needy people can "shop" at the market to pick out items for their loved ones.
