Tractor Trailer Overturns, Causes Lincoln Tunnel Delays
A tractor trailer overturned on Rt. 495 in Weehawken, causing delays at the Lincoln Tunnel on Wednesday morning, authorities said.
WEEKHAWKEN, NJ — A tractor trailer overturned on Route 495 in Weehawken on Wednesday morning, causing delays for commuters passing through the Lincoln Tunnel, authorities said.
Port Authority officials said the crash temporarily closed all lanes on Rt. 495 westbound. All traffic was diverted to the Hoboken tunnel and local streets. Delays approached 45 minutes at their height, authorities stated.
The crash also caused delays for bus commuters passing through the Lincoln Tunnel, with service to and from the Port Authority Bus Terminal hitting 60-minute delays at their height, NJ Transit stated.

DeCamp Bus lines also saw delays to "all schedules" due to the crash, the company reported.
