Vote For Hoboken’s 2017 ‘Movies Under The Stars’
If you've got a favorite film that you think Hoboken needs to see, here's your chance. But sorry… "Sausage Party" isn't on the list.

HOBOKEN, NJ — If you’ve got a favorite film that you think Hoboken needs to see, take a minute to vote in the city’s poll for the 2017 “Under the Stars” movie series in Pier A Park this summer. Just don’t expect to see “Sausage Party” on the list of choices.
City officials put out a call for votes earlier this year, seeking residents’ help deciding what flicks would make the cut for this year’s annual outdoor movie series.
According to the municipal website, movies will take place Wednesday evenings in June at 9 p.m., in July at 9 p.m., and in August 8 p.m. Admission is free.

This year’s possible selection of “family-friendly” movies - which includes classics such as Zootopia, Moana, Frozen and Mary Poppins – previously included the raunchy, adults-only animated film “Sausage Party,” until some animation fans pointed out that the R-rated flick is probably not the sort of fare you’d want your kids to watch.
