WATCH: N.J. Artist Paints ‘Medically Accurate’ Masterpiece On Instagram Star

The human body is a beautiful thing… inside and out.

JERSEY CITY, NJ — The human body is a beautiful thing… inside and out. Just ask artist Danny Quirk.

New Jersey residents got a unique chance to see what the “insides” of a human body look like when the Liberty Science Center in Jersey City set up shop for Quirk, who painted the body of social media maven and fitness guru Jen Selter on Thursday in an homage to the center’s “Bodies Revealed” exhibit.

The session was an attempt to “represent the true, inner beauty of the human form in a vivid, richly-detailed illustration,” according to a news release from the center.

The LSC’s “Bodies Revealed” exhibit, which will be on display until Jan. 16, presents real human figures and organs that reveal the wonder and beauty of the human body. The exhibition shows detailed views of human anatomy, from whole body displays to individual skeletal, muscular, nervous, respiratory, digestive, urinary, reproductive, endocrine and circulatory systems.
