HOBOKEN, NJ — Will May come in like a lion and go out like a lamb? After lots of April showers, the temperature in the Northeast dipped below freezing early on Saturday. Late Saturday afternoon, Hoboken, NJ saw a few snow squalls.

Sunday (Mother's Day) is expected to be warmer, with highs in the 60s. The temperature is expected to reach into the 70s on Friday.

Spring snow isn't that rare in New Jersey these days; in April of 2018, the state was hit with a blizzard.
