Hoboken Extends Travel Ban; See Snow Totals, Forecast, Blizzard Photos

HOBOKEN, NJ — Hoboken remains under a blizzard warning until 6 p.m. Monday.
The city extended its travel ban until 4 p.m. Monday. The state's noon travel ban expired, but a ban remains in effect for certain commercial vehicles.

Updates: Closures, Forecast
The public schools were closed on Monday.
The City Council meeting scheduled for Monday night at 7 p.m. will be virtual.
NJ Transit buses and trains were suspended Monday morning. Alerts are here.
Late on Sunday night, PSE&G reported that 1,324 households in southern Hoboken had lost power. They estimated the power would be restored around 5 a.m.
The city posted at 11 p.m. that they were aware of the outages and to call 800-436-7734 to report yours. The Office of Emergency Management and PSE&G were on the scene.

The city may get another 3-7 inches on Monday before 4 p.m., said the National Weather Service.
