Woman’s Body Found In Hudson River Near Hoboken Terminal: HCPO
Authorities are asking for help identifying the body of a woman found floating in the Hudson River near Hoboken Terminal.

HOBOKEN, NJ — Authorities are asking for help identifying the body of a woman found floating in the Hudson River near Lackawanna Terminal in Hoboken on Tuesday.
Hoboken police received a report about a possible deceased body in the river around 3 p.m., authorities said.
A “concerned citizen” helped direct Hoboken officers and NJ Transit police to the location of the body. The homicide unit of the Hudson County Prosecutor’s Office was subsequently notified about the incident.

With the help of the Hoboken Fire Department, police removed the body from the water. The person – a female from 35 to 50-years-old – was pronounced dead around 4:30 p.m., prosecutors said.
No identification has been made as of Wednesday morning, prosecutors said.

The HCPO homicide unit is investigating the case with assistance from the Hoboken Police Department. Anyone with information about a missing person within the last 30 days is being asked to contact 201-915-1345, or leave an anonymous tip on the prosecutor’s office official website.
