Yankees Playoff: Port Authority Honor Guard To Participate In Opening Ceremony

“If God is for us, who can be against us?” the oft-quoted proverb reads.

But what if you have the Port Authority on your side?

When the New York Yankees take on the Houston Astros in the AL Wild Card Game on Tuesday night, the pre-game ceremony will feature the Port Authority Police Department Honor Guard.

According to the Port Authority, five guard members will participate in the ceremony:

• Lt. John Adorno
• Sgt. Juan Diaz
• Sgt. John Schelhorn
• PO Joseph O’Leary
• PO Edwardo Gonzalez
