'Zombie Drag Queen' Wakes For Halloween Event At Hoboken Cafe

The Halloween celebration at Uncle Milton's Cafe also features a costume contest with prizes, dancing, trick-or-treat, and free cupcakes.

HOBOKEN, NJ — "Sharon" the zombie drag queen will rise from the dead for a Halloween performance at a Hoboken cafe.

The event is from 12-4 p.m. on October 30th at Uncle Milton's Cafe, an LGBT-friendly restaurant that opened earlier this year on Jefferson Street.

The Halloween celebration also features a costume contest with prizes, dancing, trick-or-treat, and free cupcakes. All ages are welcome to come, an Instagram post on owner Milton Canales' page says.

Uncle Milton's Cafe is at 1119 Jefferson St., on the upper west side of Hoboken. The restaurant serves "coffee, breakfast, lunch sandwiches, Latin food, desserts & catering," notes its social media. (See a depiction of the menu here.)
