Up to 1,500 Lost Power in Hazlet Wednesday Morning

Hazlet, NJ - Up to 1,500 people are without power Wednesday morning in the Raritan Valley section of Hazlet Township, just south of Matawan borough, reports JCP&L.

Electricity was lost due to a blown transformer at about 7:45 a.m. Wednesday, and is estimated to be restored by 9:30 a.m., JCP&L says.
