On May 5, the Holmdel Police arrested and charged Elijah Lott, 23,of Newark, with burglary, theft, and conspiracy to commit both offenses.

In the early morning hours of Saturday, Oct. 3, Holmdel Police received a call from a resident who observed several subjects stealing a 2020 Land Rover Discovery from their driveway. A subsequent investigation revealed that three men had exited a dark four-door SUV and approached the house. After discovering that the Land Rover was locked, the three suspects gained access to the garage through an unlocked door.
