100+ Crowd On Cherry Hill Road In Holmdel

Police were called to an unruly crowd of 100 on Cherry Hill Road on July 4. A fight broke out; one person was seriously injured.

HOLMDEL, NJ — Police were called to an unruly crowd of about 100+ on Cherry Hill Road in Holmdel just before midnight on July 4, they said. A fight had broken out and several people were injured, including one person who was seriously injured, police said. It was a large house party at a private residence.

The crowd of about 100, a mix of teenagers and adults, gathered on Cherry Hill Road before midnight on July 4 and Holmdel police were called in at 11:36 p.m. after reports of fights broke out. Hazlet police were called in for assistance and two people were arrested. Several people were injured and one seriously, Holmdel police said.
