2019 Holmdel BOE Candidates; Meeting Wednesday Night
Direct from the Monmouth County clerk's office, here are the candidates running for the Holmdel Board of Education this November:

HOLMDEL, NJ — Monday at 4 p.m. was the statewide deadline to submit a filing application to run for a seat on a New Jersey school board. Direct from the Monmouth County clerk's office, here are all the candidates running in Holmdel:

This will be for a full term and voters can choose up to three. The school board election will be the same day as the general election, on Tuesday, Nov. 5. Unsure if you are registered to vote? Find out, or register here.
Also, this Wednesday night, July 31 there will be a Holmdel Board of Education meeting, where the district will make a presentation to the public of the status of the Holmdel 2020 project. Holmdel 2020 is a series of planned improvements to the public school district that voters approved two years ago. In total, Holmdel 2020 cost the district $40 million and it came with a tax hike to property owners.
You might have noticed construction on Holmdel school buildings in the past few months: Holmdel 2020 includes expanded parking lots, renovated classrooms and locker rooms, a new wing at Holmdel High School dedicated to engineering, an expanded dining area for middle school students as well as playing fields, tennis and basketball courts, plus a K-3 STEAM lab at Village elementary school.
Scheduled to take place in summer 2020 is major renovations to the science labs at Satz and a new entranceway to Holmdel High.
The meeting will be held this Wednesday night at the new start time of 7:00 p.m. at Satz school.
