HOLMDEL, NJ — The following 86 Holmdel High juniors and seniors were inducted into the National Honor Society in a ceremony at the high school Thursday, Jan. 10.

Juniors and seniors who have accumulated a grade point average of 3.66 or higher are eligible to be nominated for membership into National Honor Society. Nominees must also demonstrate that they have completed 200 hours of service since the start of their 9th grade year and pass an extensive vetting process focused on the pillars of leadership and character.

It is Holmdel tradition that each inductee honors a teacher or school staff member who has mentored them during their education. The students named teachers and coaches from throughout the Holmdel school system — from elementary school on up — in the moving ceremony.
