HOLMDEL, NJ — Holmdel Township is partnering with the 911 Fund in collecting donations of medical supplies that will be given to underdeveloped countries in need.

The 911 Fund was created in the aftermath of the Sept. 11, 2001, attacks. It was conceived by former members of the Fire Department of the City of New York, and is also staffed by emergency personnel, both EMS and firefighters, from all over the country, including New Jersey, organizers of the program said in a news release.

All members donate their time and skills to organize donations and ship used medical equipment and supplies to underdeveloped countries.
