Affordable Housing Application Now Open For The Landing In Hazlet

HAZLET, NJ - A brand-new affordable housing complex in Hazlet - slated to begin leasing by winter 2021 - is now accepting preliminary applications.

Located at 910 Route 36 East, the development will feature 26 brand-new apartments with an array of amenities such as central AC, washer/dryers and dishwashers. Facility benefits include a clubhouse, pool, business center and free standard surface parking. Pets are allowed and fees and restrictions apply.

Although all households with eligible income may apply, residents and workers of Mercer, Monmouth and Ocean counties will be prioritized.

According to a notice posted to the township municipal website, the monthly rents (not including utilities) are as follows:

1 Bedroom Apartments:
One Very Low: $430
Two Low: $840
Two Moderate: $1,045

2 Bedroom Apartments:
Two Very Low: $514
Six Low: $1,006
Seven Moderate: $1,252

3 Bedroom Apartments:
One Very Low: $590
Two Low: $1,158
Three Moderate: $1,442

Interested households may submit a preliminary application at AffordableHomesNewJersey.com and join the rental waiting list by Feb. 15, 2021 to be included in the random lottery drawing.
