HOLMDEL, NJ — An incident involving a tractor-trailer and utility wires has closed part of Route 35 on Thursday, Holmdel Police said.
At 11:45 a.m., a tractor-trailer pulled utility lines and damaged a telephone pole, Holmdel Police Lt. Robert Philhower told Patch.
As a result of the incident, Route 35 northbound at Laurel Avenue is expected to be closed for several hours.
The tractor-trailer was the only vehicle involved in the crash, and no injuries were reported, Philhower said.
Police are urging drivers to plan an alternate route due to "heavy congestion" in the area.
