HOLMDEL, NJ — Two people were injured after a vehicle overturned on the Garden State Parkway on Sunday morning, NJ State Police Trooper Christopher Postorino told Pach.
At 6:48 a.m. on Sunday, troopers responded to a motor vehicle crash on the Garden State Parkway south on exit ramp 114 in Holmdel.
Based on preliminary investigation, Postorino said a Range Rover SUV was maneuvering exit ramp 114 from the Garden State Parkway south to County Road 52 when the driver lost directional control of the vehicle, struck the left guardrail, struck a pole and then overturned.
The Holmdel First Aid Squad responded to the crash and helped transport the vehicle's driver and passenger, who sustained minor injuries, to an area hospital.
The crash remains under investigation, Postorino said.
As of Monday morning, no additional information was available.
