• Back-to-School: Six Library Stories for 2026-27 (schoollibraryjournal.com) — Holmdel families can look forward to a more vibrant library experience at William R. Satz Middle School, where librarian Steve Tetreault is turning a once-bare room into a true student hangout with clubs, contests, and escape-room lessons. His plans for offline gaming, monthly programs, and a more relaxed, welcoming tone aim to make the library a social "third space" that draws kids off their screens and into reading and collaboration.
   

• 2026-2027 Proposed NJSIAA Football Classifications (shoresportsinsider.com) — Holmdel High School's football team is slated to move from South Jersey Group 3 to North Jersey Group 3 under the NJSIAA's proposed 2026–27 classifications. The statewide plan reshuffles numerous Shore Conference programs, but these changes are still unofficial and could be finalized in the coming weeks.
