Applications Open For 2026 Holmdel Police Youth Academy
The academy is open to Holmdel residents, with participants chosen on a "lottery basis."
HOLMDEL, NJ — Applications have officially opened for Holmdel’s 2026 Police Youth Academy, the police department recently announced.
The Youth Academy will take place from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. throughout select dates in August, with registration set at $200 per student.
The academy is open to Holmdel residents (St. Benedict students who are not residents may be accepted if space is available) and participants are chosen on a “lottery basis.”

Participating children must wear khaki shorts or slacks and sneakers. Shirts, hats and necessary materials will be provided.
Dates for the 2026 Holmdel Police Youth Academy are as follows:

- Ages 10 & 11: Aug. 3 through Aug. 7
- Ages 12 & 13: Aug. 10 through Aug. 14
All instruction, demonstrations and presentations will be administered and supervised by the men and women of the Homldel Township Police Department.
