Armed Home Invasion in Hazlet
On Dec. 31, a home in Hazlet was broken into and a victim was injured during the course of the armed robbery.

HAZLET, NJ - On Dec. 31, a home on a street off Highway 35 in Hazlet was broken into and a victim was injured during the course of the armed robbery, according to a criminal complaint released by the Monmouth County prosecutor's office.
MCPO officers, along with Hazlet police, arrested a man and a woman: Sapriah Tucker, 24, of East Orange, and Jarod T. McMillan, 22, of Newark.
Armed with a gun, the two broke into the home at 2:30 a.m. on Dec. 31 and stole personal belongings as well as the victim's car, the county prosecutor said. The victim was injured in the incident, and both Tucker and McMillan were charged with aggravated assault.

The investigation is ongoing and more arrests are pending, said Lt. Robert Mulligan of Hazlet police.
