Atlantic Highlands Resident Honored for Service

Joanne Salzman, resident of Atlantic Highlands, receives Lois K. Levy Employee Award from CPC Behavioral Healthcare

May 2016: Joanne Salzman of Atlantic Highlands, NJ, celebrated 20 years as an executive assistant at CPC Behavioral Healthcare’s Helen Herrmann Counseling Center on Tuesday, May 10th. At the awards dinner, in addition to the recognition for her years of service, Ms. Salzman was also honored with the Lois K. Levy Employee Award for Outstanding Service to CPC Behavioral Healthcare. She was one of only three employees to receive the award this year. Vera Sansone, CPC’s President & CEO, praised Salzman’s work to an audience of nearly 130 employees, executive staff and trustees:

“To Joanne, this isn’t just a job. Her colleagues are her family and she treats CPC as her second home. There’s no one who is more thoughtful about doing things well and doing them better. She believes in CPC’s mission and everything that happens at the Agency. In her opinion, CPC should be recognized for its important, essential service to the community and needs to be around to serve our friends and neighbors for another 50 years.”

Ms. Salzman is also an integral member of the Agency’s Addiction Recovery Services team, supporting the clinical staff and case managers in the various programs as well as managing program logistics.
