Back To School: Hazlet School District 2022-23 Calendar

HAZLET, NJ — Back-to-school planning is well underway in Hazlet, with the school calendar available to help parents and students prepare for the upcoming 2022-2023 school year.

Students return to school Tuesday, Sept. 6.

The Hazlet school community is a preschool through 12th-grade district comprised of almost 2,700 students. Its schools consist of an early child learning center for preschool and kindergarten, three first- through fourth-grade schools, two departmentalized schools serving students in grades five and six, one middle school and one high school, Raritan High School, according to the district website.

Here are some dates to keep in mind when planning for the new school year:

• First day of school for students: Sept. 6
• Fall recess: Nov. 7-11
• Thanksgiving recess: Nov. 24-25, with early dismissal Nov. 23
• Winter recess: Dec. 26-Jan. 2, 2023, with early dismissal Friday Dec. 23
• Spring recess: April 7-April 14, 2023
• Last day of school: June 23, 2023

Raritan High School graduation and Hazlet Middle School graduation dates have yet to be determined, according to the posted calendar.
