Back To School: Holmdel School District 2022-23 Calendar

HOLMDEL, NJ —Back-to-school planning is well underway in Holmdel, with the school district calendar available for parents and students to help them plan for the upcoming 2022-2023 school year.

Students return Tuesday, Sept. 6, for the first day of school.

The Holmdel School District has "a network of four schools attended in succession by all students (Pre K-3, 4-6, 7-8 and 9-12)," the school website says. "Our district accommodates the full continuum of student ages, learning levels and developmental needs." The district has approximately 2,889 students.

Here are some important dates to keep in mind for the upcoming school year:

• First day of school: Sept. 6
• Thanksgiving recess: Nov. 24-25, with a four-hour session Nov. 23
• Winter recess: Dec. 26-30, with a four-hour session Dec. 23, returning Jan. 3, 2023
• Spring recess: April 3-10, with a four-hour session March 31
• Last day of school/Graduation: June 20
