Bayshore Medical Center Brings Kids to Work
Hospital Celebrates network's first Take Your Child To Work Day
Bayshore Medical Center hosted Hackensack Meridian Health’s first “Take Your Child to Work Day” this week. The children spent half the day learning about the hospital and the many jobs and responsibilities. The kids were taught about the equipment used in a hospital, they saw what patient’s experience during a visit to the hospital, and they partook in activities that focused on health and healthy practices.
"This was a very special moment for our facility," said Frank Citara, Chief Healthcare Executive at Bayshore Medical Center. "Our team members got to share their working environment with their kids and, for many, it was the first time they got to see what their parents do at work. We look forward to this becoming an annual tradition."
