Bell Works Launches COVID-19 Vaccination Site In Holmdel

HOLMDEL, NJ - A brand-new offering has come to the famed Bell Works metroburb in Holmdel.

According to a Wednesday announcement from the Holmdel Township Committee, you can now shop, eat, play and get vaccinated against COVID-19 at the Crawfords Corner Road location.

The Visiting Nurses Association of Central Jersey have established a vaccination site at Bell Works facility in Holmdel as of this week, the committee wrote in a statement on social media.

The vaccination site launched to a “limited pool of eligible recipients” with plans for the expansion of appointments starting next week. Appointments are required at the vaccination site and no walk ins will be accepted.

Currently, vaccines are widely available to those who are in "Phase 1A," which includes those serving in health care settings who have the potential for direct or indirect exposure to patients or infectious materials, as well as residents and staff of long-term congregate settings. Police, firefighters and EMS personnel, ages 65 and older and those between the ages of 16-65 with certain health conditions are eligible (see here for the full list). Once vaccine availability expands, vaccination will advance to "Phase 1C," and then "Phase 2," according to the state Department of Health.

Bayshore Medical Center is also providing vaccines to eligible individuals in Monmouth County. You can check the status of available vaccine appointments here.

As of Wednesday afternoon, all appointment spots at both sites are full. Holmdel residents are advised to regularly check each site to see if new appointments become available, according to the Holmdel Township Committee.
