Bell Works Water Tower Lights Up For Childhood Cancer Awareness Month

HOLMDEL, NJ — Bell Works' Water Tower was lit up in yellow on Wednesday night in support of the Ahmad Butler Foundation’s campaign during Childhood Cancer Awareness Month.

Titled "Fight with Lights," this nationwide initiative encourages landmarks and communities to light up yellow throughout September as a visible symbol of hope and solidarity for children with cancer and other life-threatening childhood diseases, as well as the families by their side.

On Wednesday, Bell Works joined communities across the country in illuminating the campus in support of this cause.

"Tonight we glow yellow in support of Fight with Lights during Childhood Cancer Awareness Month," the metroburb said in an online post.

Created in 2020, the The Ahmad Butler Foundation was established in memory of Ahmad “Captain Poodaman” Butler.

Inspired by his dream of becoming a police officer and “helping a lot of people,” the nonprofit supports children with cancer and other life-threatening illnesses through programs including care packages, digital-learning resources and family experiences.

The Foundation reports having served more than 15,000 people since its founding.
