Bicyclist Struck By Vehicle On Holland Road In Holmdel: Cops

The individuals suffered injuries following a bicyclist's collision with a vehicle on Holland Road near Glenn Way, police said.

HOLMDEL, NJ - The individuals suffered injuries on Wednesday following a bicyclist’s collision with a vehicle on Holland Road near Glenn Way in Holmdel, police said.

The incident occurred around 8 a.m. on July 28, according to a statement from the Holmdel Township Police Department.

At the scene, officers found a group of three bicyclists, one of which was struck by a vehicle and subsequently injured. The operator of the vehicle was also injured and remained at the scene.

All individuals were treated by Holmdel First Aid and Paramedics. The bicyclist was taken to Jersey Shore Medical Center and the operator of the vehicle was transported to Bayshore Medical Center, police said.

Another cyclist (who was forced off the roadway, according to police) was treated for minor injuries and transported to Bayshore Medical Center.
