BMW Stolen In Holmdel June 21-22, Police Report
Cars were stolen in Rumson over the weekend, and in Colts Neck this month, too. Here's the breakdown of recent car thefts in Monmouth:

HOLMDEL, NJ — Car thefts in northern Monmouth County appear to be happening again.
A 2016 black BMW 750 was stolen last week from where it was parked on the street on Lori Lane, Holmdel police said. They announced the car theft Monday night on their Facebook page. The BMW was taken sometime between 6:30 p.m. last Thursday, June 21 and 5:15 a.m. on Friday, June 22.
Cars were stolen in Rumson over the weekend, and in Colts Neck earlier this month, as well. Police have not said if any of these thefts are connected, but here is the breakdown of recent car thefts so far in June 2018 in northern Monmouth County:

Holmdel, Sometime overnight Thursday, June 21 - Friday morning, June 22: A BMW was stolen from where it was parked on Lori Lane.
Rumson, June 22: Two cars were stolen from Rumson driveways overnight Friday, June 22, Rumson borough police report. Both cars were parked in the driveway of the homes and had been left unlocked with a key fob inside.

Colts Neck, June 11 through June 12: Three cars in total were stolen over that period, including a Range Rover and an Audi. One car was stolen from Freemont Lane and two from North Point Drive in Colts Neck. One of the cars was recovered in Marlboro Two. All had been left unlocked and parked in driveways, with the key fob inside. A fourth incident occurred where a Sterling Ridge resident said they heard strange sounds around 2:30 a.m. Wednesday, June 13. Police say it was a possible attempted fourth auto theft, but the suspect was scared away by homeowner.
